Elisha Elfrieden (エリシャ・エルフリーデン, Erisha Erufurīden) is a character of Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki series.
She was the actual successor to the throne of Elfrieden Kingdom, being the last surviving member of the Elfrieden Royal through the Succession Crisis after the death of the 12th King of Elfrieden. She eventually marries Albert giving him her family name with it and the role of 13th King of Elfrieden.
Appearance[]
Elishia is a gentle-looking woman who looks to be around her thirty. She is a beautiful woman with platinum blonde hair, just like her daughter, making her more mature looking than Liscia.
Personality[]
In her youth, Elisha was tomboyish for a princess, often taking risks and acting unlike a princess. At the time, she was certain that given her station she was never a actual contender for the throne of Elfrieden. After the first instance of her magic sending memories back to her, she became much more reserved and pragmatic, acting more like a princess despite her desires as she wished to remain alive more. During the events of the succession crisis, she routinely received memories from future-selves and would mentally spiral into a depressive state. It was not until she decided to chose Albert that she began to have hope for the value of her own life again. She was resistant to succeeding the throne, and would force it upon her husband. She remained a devoted supporter through Albert's reign and was a motivating factor behind Kazuya's ascension to the throne. While she is still generally reserved and quiet, she is a doting grandmother to Cian and Kazuha.

Elisha was born to the 12th King of Elfrieden and his third primary queen but her mother died when she was a child and was largely raised by her father and as a result grew up becoming tomboyish. When she was twelve she attempted to ride a wild horse that was not used to people but as she was attempting to climb up she received a vision of an alternate future where she climbed up the horse resulting in her falling down head first. This led to her discovering her magic for the first time. The visions caused her to be less reckless but also depressed and spent time looking at flowers in the garden.Once when she was strolling in the garden she heard Albert learning gardening from a gardener. She was surprised by the young noble's interest in gardening but said that he was fine the way he is.
When she was fifteen her father passed away and Elfrieden was pushed into turmoil as power struggles intensified. As she was relatively down the succession she was able to sit on the sidelines for sometime but as successors started dying suspiciously she could no longer remain uninvolved. Worse her magic started to activate more often giving her memories of alternate futures where she died but this also allowed her to avoid the actions that led to those and survive numerous assassination attempts. Then marriage proposals began to come but as as she considered them she was overtaken by memories of futures where marrying each candidate led to her death.
Elisha while wandering through the garden overheard Albert requesting Georg who has not not yet become the Duke of Carmine to help protect Elisha. But Georg could not and refused. Seeing this and remembering him from memories of other futures Elisha confessed to Albert, marrying him and going to live in his rural domain far away from Parnam. As a result of Elisha abandoning her claim, Albert lacking any ambition and his ties to the House of Carmine the nobles ignored them. This led to her becoming pregnant with Liscia which did not happen in other futures. However while she was pregnant Duchess Excel Walter came requesting Elisha to take the throne and promised the support of the three dukes as all other successors to the throne have died. While initially hesitant she accepted it under the condition Albert would be crowned king as he would have very few enemies.
Even-though the Kingdom was stable, but the situation of the people living in it wasn't good because the Kingdom haven't recovered yet from the damages from the succession crisis. Adding to the fact was the increase in corruption within the Nobles and the emergence of the Demon Lord's Domain and the threat it presented which caused more issues for Albert Elfrieden. Eventually, the Empire requested the Kingdom to perform the 'Hero Summoning Ritual' as a form of help towards the campaign against the Demon's, which succeeded and resulted in the summoning of a young man called Kazuya Souma. However during this Elisha and Albert received another vision of a future where Albert decided to appoint him as Prime Minister for the Kingdom. While this helped the Kingdom regain its stability and starts recovering from the damages. However corrupt nobles conspired against Souma and Liscia who was in love with Souma is also believed to have died. Elisha was that future informed her husband about the secrets of her unique magic and Elisha used her magic to transfer both her's and her husband's memories to their past-self. As a result of this they decided to give Souma more power than what he was given in the other time-line, so that he couldn't be contested by the nobles who would end up as his opponents.
Since Albert wasn't strong enough to change the course of time himself and the fact that the young man also needed more support to be successful, Elisha decided to inform and confer the secret of her unique magic to a person who was loyal to them. This person worked in the background, and orchestrated the events in such a way that all the traitorous nobles would be rounded up and removed.
This transfers of memories and the eventual decisions that Elisha and Albert took, allowed the course of history to change and saved her Kingdom, the young man and their daughter from ruin that had happened in her previous time-line.
After all the issues have been dealt with, Elisha informed Kazuya about her powers and the events that had transpired. She along with her husband decided to leave the Royal Capital and move to a remote domain, so as to not cause more issues with Kazuya's rule.

Dark Element: Elisha is a user of the rare "Dark Element" Magic, which are Unique Magic that can't be categorized under the other elements and are more personalized form of magic.
- Elisha's unnamed "Dark Element" Magic, gives her the ability to "transfer the Experience and Memories of a person's life to their past-self".
The past-self which received the memories from its future-self, would experience all the events as if they have lived through those events themselves, and they would feel as if time has re-wound back for them.
The transfer of experience is set to happen at a specific time or event that occurred in the past. Once that specific time or event is triggered, the past-self would receive the memories of their future-self.
Since the experience and memories of the future-self is transferred to the past-self, the past-self can take actions in order to avoid any unfavorable events that's bound to happen in the future, by altering the course of their actions. It is theorized that, this ability intervenes with the events and timeline of an alternate dimension, in order to avoid the occurrence of a time paradox. This theory was shown to be true and sending memories back does not change the timeline of the alternate Elisha that sends the memories.
