Juna Doma (ジュナ・ドーマ, Juna Dōma) later renamed as Juna Souma (ジュナ・ソーマ, Juna Sōma), is one of the female protagonist of Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki series. She is a granddaughter of Excel Walter.
Appearance[]
Juna is considered to be beautiful with a mature appearance for her age and is a winner of the Elfrieden Pretty Girl Grand Prix. She has notable long blue colored wavy and fluffy hair.[1] Juna inherited her grandmother's ample bosom, but unlike Excel, Juna is more modest with exposing it.
In her normal attire, she wears a white and navy blue dirndl highlighted with royal blue sleeves and a royal blue bow under her breasts. She wears a pair of royal blue pants similar to an Indian dancer's sari. She also has a sky blue frilly piece of cloth wrapped around her hips and legs. In the light novel and manga, she wears a pair of flats. In the anime, she wears a pair of gladiator sandals highlighted with a pair of golden ankle bracers.
In her formal attire, she wears a navy uniform consisting of a white button down long sleeve shirt with navy blue highlights on the wrists and shoulder, a white pair of pants, and a pair of white shoes.
Personality[]
Juna is a very even-tempered girl and is quite intelligent. She has proven to be very loyal to both her grandmother and friends in Kazuya's inner circle. She is frequently referred to as mature for her age, tending to give more affections than she allows herself to receive.
Biography[]
Juna Doma is first introduced during Kazuya's call for talented people and is announced as the winner for both the Elfrieden Pretty Girl Grand Prix and Kingdom of Talent in the singing category. Kazuya would later use these talents as part of his Jewel Voice Broadcast and Project Lorelei plan. As time progressed, Juna becomes captivated by Kazuya's ideas and realism that she starts to develop feelings for him. After Kazuya and Liscia returned from assisting the Dark Elves after a devastating mudslide in the God Protected Forest, Juna notices that Kazuya has been overburdening himself with his duties that he barely gets any sleep leading to Liscia asking her to comfort him. She obliges by visiting his room one night advising him to relax and not overexert himself. She then sings a lullaby that brings Kazuya to tears as he finally falls asleep. As she leaves his room, Juna then decides that if Liscia is the one that brings out his strength, then she'll be the one to hide his weaknesses.
It's later revealed that Juna was actually a spy codenamed 'Canaria' sent by her grandmother, Excel Walter in order to investigate the personality and activities of the newly-appointed King of Elfrieden. She finds herself being very impressed by the ideas and innovations of Kazuya and eventually reveals to him, her motives and connections to the Sea Princess. As a result, Excel Walter pledges her allegiance to Kazuya far before the Final Counsel.
During the One Week War, Juna distinguishes herself as leader of the Marine Corps during the withdrawal of the Amidonian Army by causing massive casualties among them and delaying their march to Van. After a month of occupying the city and becoming the top idol of the Lorelei Broadcast, Juna would eventually fall in love with Kazuya. Excel would then offer her granddaughter to Kazuya as a Secondary Queen Consort, but Kazuya would turn down the offer because Juna was so important as a Lorelei. However, he did promise that he would marry Juna along with the other fiancées once the other lorelei singers were experienced enough to take Juna's place. Juna happily accepted that arrangement and became the first Secondary Queen Consort.
Juna has been primarily involved with the various entertainment and educational broadcasts that are routinely put out. As the first of the lorelei's, she has become known as the Prima Lorelei. After their secret engagement, Juna was slowly phased out of the initial programs, but would occasionally star in new ones, notably the educational program Singing with Big Sis.
Juna briefly served as the acting head of state during the initial Friedonian military expedition to provide aid to the Union of Eastern Nations. This was due to Liscia still being away at the time due to her pregnancy and Aisha, Roroa, and Naden travelling with Kazuya. She would later travel to Lastania in order to bring her grandmother Excel back to the capital. After revealing that she possessed a form of blackmail on Excel in the form of a love letter, Juna would swap places with Roroa and travel to the Duchy of Chima with the expedition. She would serve with Aisha and Naden as a deterrent at the victory celebration afterwards against important persons who might have attempted to present their daughters as marriage partners.
Juna would marry Kazuya alongside Liscia, Aisha, Roroa, and Naden on the day of his coronation, officially becoming First Secondary Queen. Because she is a secondary queen, she would take the surname Souma after the wedding as it is technically Kazuya's own surname, though he has been referred to as Souma due to his initial introduction mistake.
Juna, alongside Aisha and Naden, was selected to accompany Kazuya during their covert mission to the Nine Headed Dragon Archipelago. There she assisted in sorting through the survivor reports to help construct Ichiha's monster profile for Ooyamizuchi. During the naval battle which followed, she provided support to both Friedonian and Dragon forces through the use of song, a development from the Work Songs Project by Morse Butchy. After the battle, Juna revealed to Kazuya that she was expecting their first child. She would give birth to the child at some point between when the Lastanian refugees arrived in Friedonia and when Kuu returned to the the Republic of Turgis.

Water Element: While lacking the magical power of a true mage Juna is capable of water magic to enhance her attacks. She is capable of wreathing throwing knives in water allowing the knives to pulverize large boulders thrown by ogres in midair.

Juna is the leader of a group of Marines and has experience in covert operations.
