Lagoon City (ラグーンシティ, Ragūnshiti) is the home of the Sea Serpent race and is currently a naval port of the Kingdom of Friedonia and is the central city of the Walter Duchy.
Location[]
The city is located on the Northeast coast of what was formally the Elfrieden Kingdom and is now Friedonia.
Layout[]
The city as its name implies was built upon a lagoon. It has a large port and a naval base but has no castles due to the low risk of land attack. The city has an extensive network of canals and was considered to be similar to Venice by Kazuya.
History[]
The Sea Serpent race was driven out of the Nine Headed Dragon Archipelago during the war of dragons several hundred years ago, causing them to wander the waters as pirates to survive. Some five hundred years ago, they established Lagoon City and took part in the founding war of Elfrieden. The Lagoon city became the central city of the autonomous Walter duchy. Since that time before the summoning of Kazuya Souma, the city operated as a sea port for trade and was the home of the Navy.
After the One Week War, Lagoon City is now designated as a naval port while Venetinova for tourism and trade. It is also the place where the new carrier Hiryuu was constructed.
