Leporina (レポリナ, Reporina) is a character of Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki series.
Appearance[]
Leporina is a girl of about seventeen belonging to the white rabbit race. Her appearance makes her look like a bunny girl.
Personality[]
Leoprina constantly finds herself pursuing Kuu Taisei as he rushes off to do things. As his attendant and bodyguard, she is constantly watchful and protective of him, which quite often distresses her when he makes crazy decisions. She also shows great concern and hope for Kuu, seeing him as a forthcoming great leader of the Republic of Turgis. She frequently denies her own feelings, but is open about the fact that she cannot express them how she wants to at times.
Biography[]
Exact details of Leporina's early life and how she came to be the personal attendant and bodyguard of Kuu is unknown. However, she did grow up alongside him, and eventually Taru Ozumi as well. The three would often get into childhood misadventures.
At some point Leporina had some sort of military training, where she specialized with the bow and arrow. Her skills became so great she is regarded as a sniper. Her ears also give her great auditory perception of what is around her within a large radius.
Leporina acts as something of a rational side to Kuu when his antics reach an absurd level, requiring her to remind him of his station. She cares deeply for both Kuu and the future of the Republic of Turgis in this way. As such, she is assigned to accompany Kuu when he is sent to Friedonia to learn about the country and its policies. Leporina continues to follow Kuu when he joins Kazuya and the Friedonian military during their mission to aid Lastania and Chima during the monster wave attack. It is during this campaign that she earns the unofficial title of 'Death Bunny Girl' from the soldiers in Lastania, much to her embarrassment.
As her opinion of Kuu has always been hopeful for him, Leporina found herself attracted to him. However, she regarded her station and his future as too important to allow her to express these feelings towards him. Instead, she encouraged Taru, who struggled with her own feelings for Kuu, to accept his advances, saying that she could not provide that kind of support to Kuu even when she wanted too. When Taru finally accepted Kuu's marriage proposal, she added Leporina becoming Kuu's second wife as a stipulation, which both agreed to.
Leporina would remain at Kuu's side during his stay in Friedonia, but has since returned to Turgis with him.
Abilities[]
- Sniper: Leporina is a skilled archer. Her enhanced hearing due to her race enables her to detect targets not within sight.
