Summary[]
The Elfrieden Kingdom strikes the Principality of Amidonia hard. Halbert ends up taking the head of an enemy general with Kaede's help. Liscia goes far into enemy territory and ends up worrying Aisha for a bit. They both promise to help Souma smile when this battle is over. Gaius ends up ordering Julius to retreat while Gaius is staying behind to meet his end. He wanted Julius to continue the fight with the continued grudge against the kingdom. He says the Gran Chaos Empire will likely help him if Julius makes it so that Gaius was the only one who led the invasion plan. Julius agrees and Gaius sets his sights on Souma Kazuya.
