"Chapter 50: Weighing Nostalgia Against the Future (3)" is the 50th chapter of the "Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki" Manga adaptation.
Summary[]
Souma makes it clear that if the people want to take back thier homeland, they have to be banished from the Kingdom of Friedonia. He also relates with the people seeing as how he was taken from his own homeland. He learns that the Gran Chaos empire allows the refugees to stay as long as they work the land but Souma says it's not safe considering the next generation. If the refugees do decide to stay, Souma can send them to Venetinova. The siblings are conflicted so they decide to discuss it with everyone.
Brad then comes in asking for Hilde to help with a woman in labor. They have to cut her open and Hilde is required because of her sanitation skills. They borrow a tent as Souma notes to Jirukoma that the baby will only know this country as it's home. Jirukoma decides to take the refugees willing to fight up north while Komain stays with those who want to become citizens. The baby is successfully delivered as well.
