Owen Jabana (オーエン・ジャバナ, Ōen Jabana) is a character of Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki series. Owen is a noble of the Kingdom of Friedonia from the Elfrieden region and the current head of House of Jabana.
Appearance[]
Owen is a big muscular man with Ash gray hair and a thick beard of the same colour. He is described by Kazuya as a muscle bound macho man.
Personality[]
Owen has a personality of a macho man to match his appearance. However, he is also determined to improve both himself and Kazuya. He possesses a wisdom that comes from his age which enables Kazuya to turn to him for advice at times.
Biography[]
Owen Jabana is the current head of the Jabana household. However, prior to the trial of Castor Vargas, he was not and the Jabana house was one of the neutral houses during the civil war with the apparent opinion to back the winning side. At some point between the civil war and the trial, Owen succeeded the house. He was one of the fourteen heads of house called to serve as a sudo-jury during Castor's trial. Like his fellow head of house Piltory Saracen, Owen spoke up in favor of sparing Castor from the intended execution. Both he and Piltory would be spared their own execution due to their opinions being taken as a sign of their loyalty to the crown.
Owen was ashamed about the position his house had taken during the civil war and vowed to return it to a proper state of support for Kazuya. Kazuya would come to have a great respect for Owen and would later appoint him to become his personal trainer, a position Owen has taken a great liking to. Owen is apparently quite intense as a martial trainer, as Kazuya has on several occasions tried to avoid his training sessions. He laments that Kazuya has of yet only made the martial capacity of a rank-and-file soldier.
Owen was become part of Kazuya's close circle of retainers, and thus was entrusted along with Herman Neumann to be on alert agianst the Mercenary State Zem during the Friedonian military efforts to aid the Union of Eastern Nations. He is the individual who received the invitation for Kazuya to attend their Grand Martial Arts Tournament from the messenger, who he would identify as Mio Carmine. Owen would travel with Kazuya to Zem during his trip there.
