Serina (セリィナ, Seryina) is a recurring character of Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki. Serina is the current Head Maid of the of the Parnam Castle and Liscia's personal attendant.
Appearance[]
Serina is a young woman dressed as a maid.
Personality[]
Although she has a gentle-looking appearance, Serina has a somewhat sadistic side to her, and will not hesitate to torment and 'discipline' those under her care, in order to get them in line, regardless of status or position.
She is able to see through the greedy and selfish ambitions of female suitors who approach Poncho Panacotta, and even Carla Vargas fears getting Serina angry. Though it would seem Serina enjoys humiliating Carla; giving her a maid uniform that poorly fits her.
Biography[]
It is unknown what exactly Serina's family name is, but she comes from a lineage of maids and butlers to both the royal family and noble houses, making her family a sudo-equivalent to a noble. Because of their lineage, at least part of Serina's personality came about as part of her training to be of service to others as a maid.
At some point, Serina became the personal maid to Liscia and head maid at the royal castle. Though she still maintains the position of head maid, she has since somewhat ceded the role of Liscia's personal maid to Carla. Her preferred method of discipline is to 'buwwy, not bully' her target through the use of embarrassing statements, actions, and situations.
When rumors of a mysterious ghost in the palace kitchen began to spread, Serina personally, and alone, wished to discover the truth behind the matter. She discovered that it was actually Poncho and Kazuya creating new dishes inspired by Kazuya's old world. Due to this discovery, she somewhat forced herself into the situation of being a taste tester of these dishes, to which she enthusiastically looks forward to.
As the kingdom was growing, Serina was appointed by Kazuya to be something of an aid to Poncho to help sort through the vast quantity of marriage proposals that were being directed towards him. She was at every meeting with potential candidates, which drove off both ill-intended and well-meaning prospects. It would later be told to her by Komain that the aura she projected in these scenarios was like that of a wolf.
Due to a disconnect between her feelings and her attitude of servitude, Serina had trouble discerning her feelings for Poncho. With the help of Komain, she realized that she loved him for more than just his cooking, and agreed to marry him and become his head wife, with Komain as his second wife. The three married on the same day as Kazuya's own coronation and marriage in the joint celebrations taking place across Parnam. Though strange to others, Serina's family was directly involved with the serving at their wedding.
Serina wasted no time in her declaration about the future line of the family, stating that she wished to have her child prior to the coming baby boom. To expedite this, at their wedding she was serving Poncho foods said to increase virility. In the following months, Poncho apparently lost a considerable amount of weight, but both she and Komain were expecting.
Currently, though she is expecting their first child, Serina is not going immediately onto maternity leave and is continuing to actively serve as both head maid and Poncho's assistant.
Abilities[]
Serena has no magic power but is a capable maid. She's also capable of discipling other maids like Carla.
