Though the area does not have any definitive borders, the Star Dragon Mountain Range is located south of the Nothung Dragon Knight Kingdom, east of the Gran Chaos Empire, north of the Orthodox Papal State of Lunaria and west of the Union of Eastern Nations.
Government[]
Technically speaking, if one were to describe the government of this area, it would be defined as autocratic with the Mother Dragon at the absolute top. She does not technically rule the lives of the other dragons, though her word and prophecies are considered as law. Dragons are more or less free to do whatever they wished for most of the year. The time of the Contract Ceremony is one of the occasions when all dragons must attend.
For the most part, the Star Dragon Mountain Range does not interfere with the affairs of the other nations, other than producing offspring from Dragon Contracts with the Nothung Dragon Knight Kingdom and more recently, the Kingdom of Friedonia. They are not a signatory of the Mankind Declaration Treaty, though they will defend their territory from any other nation, including the Demon Lord's Domain. As for the Orthodox Papal State of Lunaria, they are not on friendly terms, due to the Papal State's viewpoint that the worship of the Mother Dragon is considered as heresy. Due to a past invasion by the Gran Chaos Empire, they are not currently on friendly terms either, though at present, there is no declaration of war or hostilities between the two nations.
