Biography[]
Taru grew up in the Republic of Turgis at the shop of her grandfather. It is from her grandfather that Taru learned blacksmithing. Like most of Turgis during winter, she would work on souvenir-like crafts and developed a local reputation for her detail work.
When she was around 10 years old, a numoth arrived outside of her grandfather's shop carrying Kuu and Leporina. The three would form a friendship, with Taru often being dragged along on Kuu's misadventures due to her introverted nature. As the trio grew up, Taru would start to develop feelings for Kuu, but repressed them.
Taru eventually inherited her grandfather's shop, and was the craftsman that Kazuya was directed to when he inquired about a skilled craftsman who could create small instruments. After listening to Kazuya's request and ideas regarding hypodermic needles, the product he was hoping to have crafted, Taru was reluctant to accept due to the unknown nature and potential violent use of her work were she to agree to making the needles. The deal was shelved for the time. After Kazuya had a meeting with Gouran Taisei and Maria Euphoria, forming the Tripartite Medical Alliance, Taru would be one of the craftsmen to start work of the production of medical supplies.
Despite being one of the early producers, Taru would travel to Parnam and work from there. She expressed interest to going there to learn Friedonian smithing techniques, work on the production of medical supplies, and secretly to follow Kuu and Leporina. Once in Friedonia, Taru would eventually be included as a member of the International Drill project, where she worked alongside Trill Euphoria, Genia Maxwell, and Merula Merlin.
Shortly before Kazuya's coronation and wedding, Kuu would once again attempt to propose to Taru as he had numerous times before over the years. Taru would be hesitant, as she was still repressing her feelings, but with encouragement from Leporina, she would accept Kuu's proposal on one condition. The condition she imposed was that Kuu also marry Leporina, as Taru had noticed Leporina's affections for Kuu over the years. Kuu would agree to this condition.
Taru continued to develop technologies alongside her fellow researchers while in the Kingdom of Friedonia. The use of the drill on Mechadra during the battle against Ooyamizuchi revealed a number of improvements that had to ultimately be made, and Taru contributed to refining the project. She was able to bare witness to the final completion of a tunnel dug through a mountain between Turgis and Friedonia by the completed drill project.
Taru has since returned to the Republic of Turgis alongside Leporina and Kuu, though intends to remain in contact with Genia and the other researchers in Friedonia.
