Tia Lastania (ティア・ラスタニア, Tia Rasutania) is a character of Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki series. She was the princess of the former Kingdom of Lastania. She is also the wife of the former prince of the Principality of Amidonia, Julius Amidonia.
Appearance[]
Tia has the appearance of a young, middle-school girl with blond hair and large blue eys.
Personality[]
Tia has a bright and cheerful personality. She also cared about the people of Lastania, as she actively distributes food to the soldiers during the siege at Lasta.
Biography[]
Tia first appeared during the monster wave arc. She is the first and only heir of the Kingdom of Lastania. Due to the overall size of Lastania, it does not have a castle for the royal family, instead having the royal manor. As this was her home, she seems to have had more frequent interactions with the common people, fostering not only her love for the people, but their love for her.
Though she is not the acting royal, Tia seems to have assisted with Julius Amidonia's rise within Lastania. She became the primary reason that Julius opted to stay within and attempt to protect Lastania during the monster wave. This fostered her own feelings towards Julius in turn. When Julius sent the request for military aid to Roroa and Kazuya, it included an offer to claim his head if they felt it justified. Tia confessed to Julius that she would stand by Julius and offer her own head if Kazuya were to claim Julius's. When Kazuya did not hold a grudge against them, he cited that it seemed that Tia's presence was the positive effect on Julius. In the aftermath of the monster wave, she offered to take Julius as her husband to remove him from the succession line in Friedonia. Julius was hesitant, as while he did have romantic interests in Tia, he seems to also view her as a little too young still. However, he did accept and took the name Lastania in place of Amidonia. The two got married on the 3rd day of the 3rd month, 1548. As a wedding present from Friedonia, they received a large quantity of wood, stone, and other construction materials to aid in the rebuilding of the damaged lands from the monster wave. While Tia fretted about the information gift that was sent in return for Kazuya's wedding, Julius informed her that it was even more valuable.
During the battles in Lastania, she developed a friendship with Roroa, as the two are similar in age. Though she appears to be fond of Roroa, Tia does not like that Roroa refers to her as 'Big Sis' when she is younger.
Tia, with her new husband Julius, would work to rebuild the damaged lands, as well as build up the lands that Lastania had received as compensation, after the demon wave. While she was interested in quickly furthering the Lastanian royal lineage, Julius was hesitant in the hopes that Tia might grow up more from her childish figure. Eventually though, Tia did become pregnant with their first child.
During the Union of Eastern Nation's internal conflict, Lastania remained neutral instead of joining either the pro or anti-Fuuga factions. When it became clear that Fuuga and Hashim were going to ultimately win the conflict, Julius had Tia and her parents evacuated to the Kingdom of Friedonia. Tia would be waiting with worry until Julius returned to her side. She would reconnect with her sister-in-law Roroa, who herself was also heavily pregnant.
Currently, Tia is in Parnam alongside her husband Julius, her parents, and a small number of Lastanian refugees who fled with the royal family. She is currently still expecting her first child.
