Velza Norn (ヴェルザ, Veruza) is a character of Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki series.
Appearance[]
Velza is a dark elf with short silver hair.
Personality[]
Velza is calm and quick-witted. However, these elements disappear when she is near Halbert Magna, causing her to have a fan-girl style reaction and obsession. She is shown to be smart, having scored at or near the top of the incoming class at the Royal Academy, and is chosen as the student representative for her class at the opening ceremony. As a dark elf, she shows a passion for food (particularly sweets) which Tomoe remarks as similar to Aisha. Velza states that this is due to a lack of sweets in the God-Protected Forest.
Biography[]
Halbert Saves Velza
During the natural disaster that struck the God-Protected Forest, Velza who was trapped under the landslide was rescued by Halbert Magna and Kazuya Souma. Ever since she had been recused by Halbert, she had become infatuated with him, even deciding to join the Army and hopefully work under Halbert when she grows older.
Later on, when she heard that Kazuya is coming to the God-Protected Forest to meet the Chief, she requested her father to invite Halbert along with them. When Halbert along with Ruby arrived to visit them, she was initially out. But when she arrived, she rushed in and tackled Halbert into a hug. Afterwards she presented herself humbly and politely to both Halbert and Ruby even asking for forgiveness for her previous behavior. This surprised her father as she wasn't this polite and was more of a tomboy. This resulted in him getting hit in the shin by a piece of wood laying around, which Velza had kicked at him. She goes on to ignore what she had done, and continues talking to Halbert and Ruby which was slightly making Halbert uncomfortable, as he was getting the feeling that he was getting trapped. Sur who had recovered from the hit, ask Velza to continue her talk inside their house, to which she agrees and drags both Halbert and Ruby inside. Later on, Sur notes to himself that Halbert have to be careful of Velza and rein her properly or else he would have a rough ride in the future.
Future[]
It has been mentioned that years later, Velza does keep her word and joins the Army, and was fortunate enough to be placed under Halbert. She was also shrewdly able to manage to arrange her marriage with Halbert, much to the headache of Kaede Foxia, who couldn't feel relieved about the whole situation.
