Yuriga Haan (ユリガ・ハーン, Yuriga Hān) is a character of Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki series.
She is Fuuga Haan's younger sister and was the princess of the Great Tiger Kingdom of Haan. After marrying Souma E. Friedonia, she became the 4th primary queen of the Kingdom of Friedonia.
Appearance[]
Yuriga is a girl from Malmkhitan. She wears a light blue and white nomadic style dress. She has vibrant blue eyes and her hair is a deep shade of blue done up in twin tails tied with ribbons. Being a celestial, she has a pair of wings growing out of her back.
After the timeskip Yuriga has grown into a young woman, Her figure is more pronounced and she foregoes the twin tails and wears her hair down but tied with a ribbon.
Personality[]
Yuriga is critical of everything and everyone, frequently comparing these to her brother. She also displays some elements of both a superiority complex and a brother complex. While she is critical of others, she is unable to easily accept criticism of herself and more importantly, at least to Yuriga, her brother. She often will verbally rebuff those critical, and in the specific case of Tomoe will frequently pull at her cheeks. However, Yuriga is also insightful, discerning that everything Kazuya does has meaning, even if she cannot understand what that meaning is.
She is intelligent, though of her companions she is said to have the lowest grades. She can be very reckless, having stowed away and nearly caused an international incident for it.
Overall, Yuriga is very similar to Liscia Elfrieden; a tomboy princess who can adapt to her surroundings well.
Biography[]
Originally from what is now the Nomadic State of Malmkhitan, Yuriga followed her brother Fuuga Haan to the Duchy of Chima when he responded to the request for aid from Chima during the monster wave. She seems to have been the only non-combatant to have done so from Malmkhitan. Due to her status and age, she stayed in the Duchy's castle to shield her from the fighting.
She first encountered Kazuya shortly after he had first met Ichiha, and was immediately confrontational. Though quickly scolded by Fuuga, she quickly became critical of Kazuya and began her constant comparisons to Fuuga. Fuuga dumped watching over Yuriga onto Kazuya, and thus began her friendly rivalry with Tomoe and Ichiha.
After the conclusion of the battles in Chima, Fuuga decided to send Yuriga to Friedonia to learn, much to Yuriga's protests. Reluctantly, she did travel there and studied briefly under the tutelage of Hakuya with Tomoe and Ichiha before being enrolled at the Royal Academy. Yuriga barely acquired the passing marks needed to be in the same class as Tomoe and Ichiha, which she only achieved through extra studying under Hakuya. As Tomoe was the center of their friend group, Yuriga has become friendly with Velza and Lucy since their inclusion. As she is somewhat athletic, Yuriga has also joined a sports club for a flight-based soccer-type sport.
When Tomoe and Ichiha were selected to go on a secret mission to the Nine Headed Dragon Archipelago, Yuriga was both jealous and curious. As she was not included among the intended travelers, she hid as a stowaway on the ship that brought the group to the Twin Islands. After arriving, her presence was discovered when she could no longer stand the conditions she found herself in that made her nauseous. After being scolded, she was closely monitored by Tomoe and Naden under the direction of Kazuya before being sent back to Friedonia with Ichiha and Tomoe.
Yuriga attended the Royal Academy alongside Tomoe, Ichiha, Velza, and Lucy.

Yuriga has trained somewhat with a sword and is somewhat athletic since she joined a sports club during her time at the Royal Academy.
